So Ive Got Spyware

Ive ran spybot and adaware, they come up clean :(

what happens is my home page is set to some obscure web search engine when I restart...I know other people have had it, but I cant remember where I saw it...
 
Did you update adaware to get the latest definitions? Also, check your add\remove program list for strange entries.

where did you hear this? I've heard it twice now on TW and no one has bothered to back up their statement with proof or a source even. Please elaborate

Some sites have a shady version of spybot that has malwara bundled with it.
The mirrors on their site should be clean.
 
^^ that's what I thought, wasn't sure if there was some substance to that concern though.

I think the spybot I got was from the main site, or something linked from tw

edit: just want to say how much I detest the people that make these things :D
