So, What is your definition of good. Of evil?

Does good mean to always obey the law, or is it ok to break the law if you think what you are doing is "Right"

Can you be evil and remain inside the law?

Can Laws be evil?

Hmmmm, I think I will ponder these thoughts

not sure but i know it when i see it thanks to my trusty internal compass

Does good mean to always obey the law, or is it ok to break the law if you think what you are doing is "Right"

depends, i think jaywalking to pickup a little old lady that fell on the other side of the street is fine but murdering somebody cause they had their stereo up too loud is wrong.

Can you be evil and remain inside the law?

you bet, laws can't cover everything.

Can Laws be evil?

you bet, laws are made by men and are subjective

Noone believes they are evil or doing things that are evil. (or very few people do)
Everyone believes they are just.. Its others perspective that determines whether they are good or evil

Well... the law doesen't decide right or wrong. It decides legal and ileagal.

Correct, but we design our laws to fit our sense of right and wrong, good and evil? Correct?

according to reputable sources (Law & Order, the tv show) this is partly why we have juries, they can help correct situations where existings laws & morality butt heads.

since it's supposed to be a jury of your peers .. i'd say yes..

plus you dont have to get a trial by jury..

good = "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
evil = the opposite of good

law = "A collection of rules by which a group of people agree to abide"

Therefore, the law has nothing to do with good or evil, it's just popular opinion...
