I need an apartment in tokyo help me

I want one of those small one room apartments, with the shower, kitchen, living room, bedroom all in one room room.

Google is giving me nothing.
What are these small 1 room apartments called.

I'm not looking for guest houses or inns or anything, just normal 1 room apartments.

anyone know?
 
they call 1 roomers studios..wow i dodn't know they called those lil things studios.

I wasn't aware you could GET anything other than that in Tokyo

Are you on the run from the law or something? Trying to high tail it to japan on short notice.
 
HORRIBLY expensive to live in tokyo
Plus you have to get all your "extras" like airconditioning/heating washer/dryer microwave, etc.
 
i'm thinking about doing the same thing (selling everything i own) and then moving to new zealand or australia...but first, work is sending me to new zealand, so gonna check it out before i do anything crazy.
 
you want to live outside of tokyo, in yokohama or something. There's good transit from all around tokyo, and it costs alot less. Tokyo will squeeze every yen out of ya.
