I'm in Detroit

Maybe a half mile radious centering on Ford Field/Commerica , the rest looks like a war happened there 50 years ago and nobody has bothered to clean it up.

What do you expect, they make cars in Detroit. They have an MGM casino, a great hockey team, not much else.

You'll like Chicago better. Visit the Sears towers, and Rush street.
 
I would dearly love to meet people for drinks, but this is just a pit stop on Domestic Process Plant Tour '03. I'm actually waiting in a Northwest WorldClub (rawther shi-shi) here in the airport. My flight was delayed.

My only regret is that I did not take the opportunity in my 5 hours here to demand a trip to Windsor, the Canadian "City of Sin".

If you actually want to go out for a fun time, forget downtown Detroit. Check out Royal Oak, Pontiac or Rochester.
