crt and lcd

i record my guitar stuff through my computer, and when i get my guitar close to my CRT monitor (while pluged in, and the amp on) i get some disturbance through the amp. When i move away, the noise goes away. Would a Lcd fix the problem?

I believe an LCD is more resistant to electrical interference but I'm not sure.

maybe just a little detail please? i really dont have the loot for a lcd, but could there be a simple solution.....

Get a longer cord and stay away from the monitor.

guitar pickups are magnetic coils. crt monitors have magnetic guns in them. when in close proximety they interfere with each other.

LCDs dont use the same technology as crts and thus wont interfere with your guitar's magnetic pickups.
