How do you get meat off the bone

Ok so my Halloween costume is a Zombie Pirate right.

So I am trying to make a zombie parrot. I have some chicken bones that I am going to attach to a fake parrot I bought but I don't want the thing attracting flys and smelling all funky.

Anyone know how to treat bones so that I will be able to use them on on my costume and not be all gross

I normally don't eat chicken on teh bone either

Everything disgusts you doesn't it? How would you survive if you were left behind in the jungles of Africa or something? ;)
 
I allready boiled them now I am bakin ghtem at a low heat. I wonder if I have some mat acrylic spray some where.
