Looking for good Rock Bands

I mean actual rock, rock n roll type things are preferred, I'm looking for a more classic rock sound. Lets say for the sake of getting some good bands that I don't know any classic rock bands...



Anything from old to new really I'd be willing to give a try and go buy a CD. so CD names are appreciated if you've got em

check out The Clarks. They're not classic rock, but a very good rock band,

I'm more into alternative/punk, but pretty much every single one of my rock & roll inclined friends (both irl and on the net) tell me butch walker is the only person keeping rock alive right now. I believe his debut album is called "Left of Self-Centered" or something close to that.
