News: UVA Tribes Council Roundup: Gameplay

Thrax and Marweas held a Tribes Council session on Gameplay at <a href=http://www.uvalan.com>UVALan</a> and for those who didn't get a chance to attend you can now read about what was discussed and suggested to them. This is all well and good, but I want details! You say people brought up beacon stopping and grappling hooks... what did people think? Did the community generally support these ideas or was it just the person posing the suggestion to the devs with no discussion?

people generally like beacon stops.

grapling hook - i think it was sort of split.

That actually would be damn funny. Watching some light grab flag and hit the route @ 500 miles an hour only to be ganked in half by a trip wire.

I know that would scare the shit out of me :)
 
I can actually see adding tripwire mines, but grappling hooks? Fuck no. Ya it'd be cool but its not tribes imo. Maybe a mod.
