Black Ice "security" software question

Was at Compusa today looking at some upgrades and one of the sales guys pointed me towards BlackIce for security. Said it does a lot more than the box says, he even hinted it can give you info to hack back at someone who attacks you if you know what you're doing.

So,

1 Is this bullshit?

2 anyone used/use it?

3 is it bettar than norton ofirewall or the others?

4 If the part about reversing attacks isn't BS, just how much can you do with it?

I've heard SoftIce is way better

before i got a router, blackice rawked.

and yeah it does reverse DNS lookups giving you the IP address of your attacker. and if it gives you the netbios name (sometimes this happens) then you have an even easier time hacking that person.
