I've got a Win 2k system with a basic 4mm tape drive and 5 tapes that I'm using to do backups.
Basically, I do a normal system backup to the tape drive, but now I want to automate this shit so it can run at 4a.m. All of my tapes are listed in the "Backup/4mm DDS" media pool. However, every time I set a backup schedule, it forces me to choose a specific tape to back up to. I'm going to be swapping these tapes in and out at random times. I can't find any way to say "take whatever tape is in the drive and use it". The New Media option is there, but if I do that, it will prompt me with these "data on this media will be erased if you do this. Are you sure?" confirmations and won't start the backup until I actually click yes, which totally defeats the purpose of late night automation.
Any hints?
