Commo tower

I think a commo tower would rock.

You have a tower when its functioning team chat, vchat, waypointing would remain the same.

if knocked out then you are restricted to the chat(s), waypoints, etc.. to ur 200meter sensor in ur suit.

you could have an additional hud icon to represent team transmitting.

just a thought.

This is an idea that looks cool on paper, but in action would annoy the living poopoo out of players.

I think that people would just use voice communication tools in competition play, therefore your idea would only affect pubs. I don't think that it would improve pubs though :/

It would be totally lame. It would be cool, though, to have a sensor/data gathering base that gives players complete sensor coverage over a certain area of the map. The base would be indestructible, but capturable.

agreed, losing my chat would blow.

but the IFF & waypointing would be cool.

and yes it does look better on paper.
