youd have to ebomb probably at least 7-8 targets wordwide to make the entire internet come to a crawl. But 1-2 of those places could do a sufficient job of slowing a large section of it down.

They are. They're in hardened datacenters (e.g.- copper shielding in the walls, etc.).
