It's for an xvid movie and I dl nimo pack and it still doesn't work and it should.

uninstall all of your codecs through add remove programs

then download and install defiler pack

I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the wrong codec, but I think for some versions of the nimo installer you have to select custom installation and manually select the XviD codec.

Don't use Nimo pack. That thing causes problems all over the place. Use Defiler pack, or better yet, go and install the codecs you need individually.
