So... any graphics demanding programs crash on my computer :|

I've been having problems with my Gf2MX for a long time with games ranging from games crashing to desktop to system rebooting

recently I got an Albatron GF4 Ti4200 128mb hoping to solve the problem but no luck, 3dmark crashes, (both 2001 and 2003), games reboot, etc... etc... I can't seem to be able to track down what is causing the problem, the system runs rock stable until a graphics demanding program comes around when it decides to go boom. It's not hte video card because I've already replaced that... and all other hardware is running with latest drivers

The system specs are:

Iwill KK266 board
Athlon 1.33 GHZ cpu
SiS 900 network card
SB Live! Value
firewire card
420w enermax psu
16x dvd-rom
24x10x40x cd-rw (sony)
40gb maxtor
10gb fujitsu
SK6 heatsink with a Thermaltake fan (running a bit hot, actually, for 1.33ghz, I may try and reseat the heatsink and fan in a few days, it's running at about 53 idle with the side off)

What are the specs on your power supply? Specifically the voltage of the +5.0 and +3.3 rails? It sounds like you might be falling short in the power department.

either lack of power or too much heat..

When my hubby put XP on his stuff quit working.. not sure if that is your problem tho..
