I deleted msiexec.exe (windows installer), HELP

im running XP Pro... all the links i found on google to update or install windows installer are for 9x, 2000, or NT and say "wrong OS" when i try to install them... where can i reget msiexec.exe for XP?

Delete the exe with a little bear icon to that is your problem.

Here is v2.0.2600.0 of the XP executable. If you deleted more than just that you might want to do a restore from before the deletion, or a system repair.

You're better off restoring your own version from your C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache directory though, mine may be different from your original.

no warez, what happened was, i did some search for something and highlighted everything, and msiexec must have been one of those things cause all of a sudden .msi files = broke
