Going overseas, and want to stay connected, looking to buy some type of laptop.

Looking specifically for something that can at least run Tribes/ EQ / CS and play DvD's

If I can pull one, then I can go to UVA5

i checked there and also checked.. dell and some power site.

I have the prices all laid out, just want to see if I can get with someone from the Tribes community with a mediocre machine for a better price....

sony memory stick port
mmc memory stick reader
carrying case

running windows xp with the video drivers that came with it(ie: not updated) get about 115 fps in t1. t2 not tryed.

1650 + shipping.
