Who Replied?Not unless you're on teh beta team. It won't give you any better speed or effects in current games, and might hose your windows.
Plus, recent dx betas have been known to be set with an expiration date, like in a month you'll have to reinstall win cuz your games just won't work. (it'll say your dx is out of date)

i've been using dx9 thru beta 1 and it's really been flawless... i'm pretty surprised how well it handles everything even on my older comp.
