green sucks. The orange fits the color scheme best. And you don't want to blow your load too early and pick red. Should save that color.

save it for what? 4th year?

i wouldn't want there to be a veteran4... should just be something like "Colossal Loser" at 4 years :p

or some kind of graphic
 
actually instead of green orange would work better.. think about it

vet2 = yellow
vet3 = orange
vet4 = red

nice little color coordination there
