windows explorer and winxp

is there a way to get windows explorer to automatically go to C: drive when I open it instead of going into my documents?

also why does all my .zips go into my scroll bar if i open a folder with .zips. stupid thing hangs for 10 secs if i have lots of .zips in a folder.
