Artistically I agree with you. The best painting I've ever seen was of a nude wearing a lace robe. (I think it sold for 3 thousand at the auction I worked at.) But you can see the nipple just fine in the wet T-shirt pics so why not take away the fabric?

see, you can't actually SEE the nipple in those pics. It's behind a layer of solid fabric

you're just imagining it
