I've seen mounts and im impressed that people saved that much money

That said, i'm 35 and have 84g. I'll have more than enough for a mount at 40.

I know a lot of people would have more than me, but all my friends are sub 20g
 
Have 11g @31. At 28 I started to really crank down the spending. Just got 'Honored' status in IF, so that will make training more convenient.
 
I have around 30g right now, I spent 100g on my mount .. and 30g on my phantom blade + other gear that ive bought and professions, in total id say ive had around 200g.
 
if you dont have a mount yet and have to buy one... you damn welll need to save every penny from lvl 20 onwards...

that said, im lvl 45. i blow a ton of gold on tailoring (lvl 260+) and do a lot of trading. im sitting on 42g. :)
 
im 31 with about 5g, most spent on auctions. im not sure how useful it is to save up 120g for a mount at lvl 40 when i have travel form

i just turned lvl 30 last night, so i paid a bunch to learn new skills/moves etc. but i've got 10g now, and i've just started to use the auction house a lot more. just trying to manage $ properly until i can get my mount.
