Irrational Games Viewing Classic Matches

In the original Tribes:Vengence thread, KineticPoet had mentioned something about wanting to view some classic matches. This Monday, my team has a match vs ZU at 9:30 PM, EST for the #8 rung on the 14 man Classic ladder of the TWL. I've talked with captains of both teams, and they had said that it would be ok if KP and other Irrational Games members would like to observe our match. If you're interested, feel free to send me a PM.

I would have contacted KP through a more direct fashion, but this has proven to be difficult.

Yeah, we've seen a few matches already. Good stuff. Unfortunately I'll be out of town on Monday (our Tuesday), but keep in touch. There's plenty of time in the coming months to view some matches. =)

dunce_boy, I find it more useful to actually be on the server observing. It's interesting to watch the guy who runs off to deploy an inventory station somewhere, or the guy who's repairing something, or the long-range spammer, or any position really. But T2TV and demos are good too,

exactly. why settle for the second rate wannabie mod when you can have the original?

Then again, no one plays the original, so it might be demo time.

I believe this is being watched. My 7 man match (idz vs infidelic) was watched. Not sure how this is being worked out but whatever, it was interesting.
 
Get them to listen to some casts. I know this sounds odd, but some of the really big action pack casts. Bounty going flat chat on WSBN.

In T2 casting history for example, 5150 v Vanguard. With the whole "tree blocking" on the capper from Vanguard (forgotten who it was!! someone kill me now! i need to download it and listen to it again me thinks!).

Something tells me KP has seen enough T1 matches to know what they're like. ;-)
 
<3 KP...I couldnt be more happy to hear that you guys are taking a lot of different aspects of Tribes and Tribes2 to get a feel for T:V.
Nows a great time to watch the classic matches, as the compitition is really good. The top 5 are all Strong contendors and provide great matches....and im sure any of us would be more than happy to let ya observe a match. There's a couple good matches this week, next week should probably be good, if challenges go well(there never do tho :X )
