Tribes 3 Concept: Team logo's

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see this in T3, which each team can add there own logo's(Just like what DAoC has) where you form a Guild/Team and have a logo for that team on your armor. logo = Black and White design 100x100px.

I myself would like to see Capes on the characters :D just for the hell of it - ones from DAoC w/ Team logo's :D

No, not big ass skins like what there is now, just small skins so we don't(56 modems) don't have to download, PLUS you can have a page of teams like what daoc has w/ logo designs.
showing stats - etc!

Anyways, ya -- like the HL spraypaint thing, it'd actually be pretty neat I think.

Shut the fuck up, knowing what happened last time (T2), they might just take it seriously and do it...

I added that to my thread, but I edited real fast because I forgot I hate spray.
It's good when you can add your own, but it lags the hell out of me on 56k.

But hell I'd like to see some type of spray, like VAV :D
 
a 32 color palletized 300x300 gif is 2112 bytes.


that's about 70,000 bytes on a 32 person server, or 3 and a hlaf tribalwar sigs. That's nothing for someone on broadband, and modem humpers can turn it off.
 
I agree I'd like to see some sort of in-game personalization that can be mass-distributed similar to HL/CS sprays. Obviously personal skins are a bit over the size limit that would be required so I think that "badging" the armor would work well.

Capes are in. And silk zoro masks. Everybody wears a flower. Carnations for the Blood Eagle.
 
Very cool idea. Would add some nice customization. And Colosus, the biggest advantage of this is people are still going to see it, even if they didn't download your skin.

I know, I was just messing with him. I like the idea.
 
Still, you sure would see a lot of fake 5150s or whatever the top teams are gonna be. You'd also see a lot of goatsees and tubgirls so I think they should put in a nice ban feature that emits a high pictched squeel and UEs your machine on dissconect.
