About gameplay change between Tribes games.

I'd prefer that they don't radically change the gameplay very much.

If they want to add some depth, why not add a "dodge" like in UT. Include dodging on the ground, and dodging off of walls.

Can you imagine maps designed with flat edge pillars for wall dodging off of?

I could. Then again, I could also imagine people being hard to hit in arena games. Whatever though.

But I'd prefer a closer to T1 in it's heyday game in Tribes the next more than any swarm of silly "ooo that sounds cool" features that most non-hardcore Tribes players can come up with.

Agreed. Keep it as close to the T1 gameplay as possible. I think it'll probably lean more towards LT/TR style gameplay because they're trying to reduce learning curve (those games have less complexity) and because KP is on the dev team.
